Quick Contest!

Craig and I stopped by the little bodega at the bottom of the hill for a few supplies for tomorrow’s hike.

Can you guess the total we paid for the items pictured? Two large bottles of water, two bananas, four mandarin oranges, and six eggs.

If your guess is closest to the actual retail price of these items without going over, I will make a $20 donation in your name to The Covering House, a St. Louis organization that helps  rescued sex trafficking victims to start a new life.

Post your guess in the comments below!

OK! My guess is $1.60 but it is probably less so I have a feeling that it is closer to what Cookie guessed! 🙂

About $2.25. Guessing the water was the most expensive.

**Bob Barker Voice ** The actual retail price of the items is… $2.47.

That makes Alia the closest without going over, though several of you were awfully close.

Of course the important thing is that the donation goes to The Covering House, and the fact that all of you wanted to help it get there warms my heart!
